How to Look After and Care for Your Conservatory.
Deciding to purchase a brand new conservatory can bring many benefits to your home. When you have guests around and they see your conservatory shine in the sun, you will feel really proud.
Here are some of our tips to keep your conservatory in top condition.
Don’t Leave it Alone.
Conservatories are made from the best materials and latest technologies to make them comfortable all year round. We may not have the best weather in the United Kingdom, however, you could be hosting parties and games nights in your conservatory. Why not cuddle up with a duvet and catch up on your latest shows. If you keep using the space, it will naturally keep on feeling comfortable and looking at its best.
Carry out an Inspection from Top to Bottom.
Conservatoires are not very difficult to keep maintained. In fact, they have become one of the simplest rooms to look after in many houses. Over time conservatories can collect dirt and debris, so they will need to be regularly checked inside, outside and even the roof structure.
Use the Correct Tools and Products.
Cleaning your conservatory may need two things. A product for loosening up all the dirt and residue and also a product that can be used for cleaning the inside of the roof. Most DIY stores sell cleaning products for inside and outside of conservatories.
Keep Your Feet on The Floor.
When cleaning conservatory roofs it is always best to keep your feet on the ground. Conservatories made from glass and other materials can break. Instead, opt for a tool that will allow you to reach and clean the roof from the safety of the ground. In fact, an extendable handle with a sponge and a water fed will allow soapy water to be poured onto the roof, these are perfect. To sum up, by carrying out this method it eliminates the chances of having an accident.
Take Your Time.
Work from one side of the conservatory roof to the other side. Apply plenty of soapy warm water to help loosen dirt and residue. Rub harder with the sponge to help lift stains where needed. Do not use abrasive products on the glass as this may scratch the glass. Finish off by rinsing the conservatory windows with water to prevent smears.
