The Best Ways To Decorate Your Front Door This Christmas

The entrance to your home is the first thing that quests ill notice. Your front door will be the first thing that visitors and guest will see upon visiting your home. With the Christmas season very much on the way now is the perfect time to show off your brand new front door. Decorating your door for Christmas will help to make it look more stylish and inviting. Here are some ideas for decorating your front door.

1. Lanterns

If you have a front door that already has a lovely festive colour to it. Why not add some Christmas lanterns to your doorstep to provide that finishing touch. Not only will it make your home look more festive but will also catch peoples eyes.

2. The Traditional Christmas Wreath

If you are looking to spice up your front door for Xmas but want to keep it simple looking. The traditional Xmas wreath is a perfect way to add that Christmas spirit to your home.

3. Decorated Garland

Decorate a garland with pinecones, tinsel, and Christmas bubbles. Installing this round your door will certainly add that Christmas spirit to your home. Furthermore, you can the wreath to your door to make it even more Christmasy.

4. Fruit Mixed Garland

Much like the decorated garland, the fruit garland is made of Xmas pine bushes and fruits. These can be purchased with the decorations already installed for quicker installation. Furthermore, you could buy your own garland and decorate with fruit such as apples, oranges, and pineapples.

5. Decorative Stars

Add some sparkle to your front door by adding gold or silver stars to your door. These can simply dangle over your door frame to prevent damaging your door. 6. Outdoor Xmas Lights

Add light and sparkle to the surround of your door frame. Outdoor Christmas lights are a great way to light up and add colour to your front door. Combine this with an Xmas wreath and a decorated garland for the best look.

One of the most common sounds of Christmas is ringing bells. Why not add some lovely red or white coloured Xmas bells to your door. Furthermore, these are a great way of making your home look Christmassy with other Xmas decorations such as wreaths and garlands. However, take note that they could be very noisy during high winds.

9. Potted Xmas Trees

Consider buying a potted Xmas tree to add to the front doorstep. Much like the planted plant pot, you can also decorate these to the way you want them to look. Furthermore, once Christmas is over you could plant the tree in your front or back garden.

One of the best ways to make your front door look more festive is by adding a nice welcome sign. You can find a wide range of Christmas welcome designs online and in stores for your front door. These are really nice for welcoming people to your home.
