What Is The Best Way To Clean UPVC Windows?

Vacuum – Open your windows as far as possible with damaging them. You can now remove the built-up muck and dirt by using a soft brush on the vacuum cleaner. The vacuum brush nozzle will help to prevent scratching the uPVC window frames and glass.

Warm Water – Using a mixture of warm water and diluted washing up liquid with a soft cloth, wipe down the dirty window frames and glass. DO NOT use cream cleaners or scouring cloths as these will damage the windows.

Drying Windows – A non-abrasive clean cloth or soft kitchen roll, dry your windows and remove any excess water for the ultimate shine. Doing this will further remove any dirt that may be floating around in the excess water.

How Do I Clean Window Sills?

To maintain the perfect look of white uPVC window sills. You will need to wipe the sills down every so often with a soft cloth and warm water. DO NOT use abrasive fabric as these can scratch and damage the uPVC.

Place a soft cloth into a bucket of warm soapy water and give the window sill a good wipe down. Use a new dry cloth, a non-abrasive type to dry the uPVC window sills removing excess water.
