Bedroom Windows Sills

If you are lucky and you have a large windowsill in your bedroom, you can place cushions on it. That will make it cosier when reading a book or relaxing. Furthermore, if you only have a small window sill, this can be a great storage place. Candles, picture frames, jewellery stands, and other bits are perfect enough to fit small window sills.

Living Room Window Sills

Large living room window sills are excellent for potted plants. A stylish way to use potted plants would be to hang them from the curtain rails at different heights. That will allow the potted plants to brighten up your living room and provide a better viewing experience.

If you are a person who is not to keen on plants, do not worry, you can use your window sill for your favourite books and magazines. You can also add vases and trinkets on top of your books for a better appearance.

Bathroom Windowsill Ideas

Bathroom windowsills tend to have more of a natural appeal. Spice up your bathroom windowsill with glass jars filled with bathroom accessories. Depending on the position of the window sill, it can be an excellent area for toothbrush holders, soap dispensers or candle holders.

However, if you have a very small bathroom window sill and you can’t fit any of the above onto it, you can still make it look stylish by placing small stones, rocks or shells that you have found at the beach. For a further added touch, why not add a few tea light candles.

Kitchen Window Sill Ideas

Kitchen windowsills are the perfect place for growing your very own herb garden. Herbs are an excellent edible decoration. Therefore, if you have a window that sits above the kitchen sink, this could be the perfect place to grow your little herb garden.

The kitchen windowsill is also another place for storing bits that you cant find space for in the cupboards. Crockery, spices and other ingredients can decorate your window sill.
