How Do I Install A Pet Flap In A Door?

One of the most often asked questions about doors. Is it possible to fit a dog flap or cat flap in my door? Yes, a flat may be installed to your door, depending on the type of door you have. You can install pet flaps on most doors, giving your pet access to your home while you are away. We have installed pet flaps in French doors, patio sliding doors and uPVC doors.

A pet flap gives your furry friends a way of coming and going as they please. Furthermore, pet flaps come in a range of sizes for larger cats and even smaller dogs. We use the Petsafe Staywell door flaps when we install them on our doors, this is done during the manufacturing process to ensure it fits perfectly to your new door.

Staywell Pet Safe flaps come in a range of different sizes. The most common is 212mm in diameter, this is perfect for small-sized pets that weigh no more than 7kg. For bigger pets, we also offer a Staywell Pet Flap that has a diameter of 292mm. These are ideal for larger cats and small dogs. Remember, the bigger the pet flap, the easier it is for someone to break in.

What Colours Do Petsafe Pet Flaps Come In?

Staywell Petsafe cat flaps can come in three colours. These are grey, white and woodgrain to make your door of choice. These catflaps are fitted with four-way controls, meaning it can set to open or closed. That allows you to control when your pet can access the pet flap.
