Christmas Window Display Ideas

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. So it’s time to decorate the home for Christmas.

However, windows often get neglected when it comes to Christmas decorations. Yet, an impressive Christmas window display can draw attention from passers-by. Moreover, it will welcome family and friends into the home.

A Snowy Christmas Window Display

We all dream of it snowing at Christmas time. But in case it doesn’t snow – make your own.

Paper snowflakes are easy to make by cutting, folding and sticking. You can then tape them to your windows or hang them from a piece of string at different lengths.

Moreover, you can buy snow spray from some retailers. It comes in an aerosol can and can be sprayed onto the window to create a mini winter wonderland.

Adding Lights To Your Windows

Hanging icicle lights over your windows outside is an easy way to spread festive cheer. Most homes now do the same, so your neighbourhood will light up the dark in the lead up to the big day.

Furthermore, you can buy light-up Santa ornaments and stars to sit on your window sill too. Or spread a sparkly garland across the sill if you’re looking for something a bit more minimalist.

A Christmas Window Display For A Bay

If you’re lucky enough to have a bay window, why not utilise the space and stand your Christmas tree there?

Decorate the tree with different coloured baubles, tinsel, and fairy lights. It will look magical both inside and out.

Other Ideas

By pinning a piece of string up across the window, you can hang your Christmas cards over it. Doing so will create a garland of season’s greetings.

Moreover, why not hang a wreath in your window instead of on your door for an alternative look? Or hang some oversized baubles in the window instead?

Furthermore, if you don’t want to go overboard, fill a window box with some festive plants.
